AS ONLY GOD CAN
Hello Everyone,
As I sat looking out my window over the water and watching the blustery winds bending the trees and whitecap the waves, I found myself stepping back in time — reminiscing about days and years gone by. My, how the months seem to be flying pass me in the blink of an eye.
Suddenly, here comes March blowing in like a roaring lion. Winds are predicted to be 50 to 60 miles per hour tonight.
March is well known as the windy month, and its reputation even shows up in folklore. I remember throughout my childhood my grandmother saying: “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.
As I was pondering things from the past that had happened in my life, I received a revelation that was such a blessing to me— and if I may, I’d like to share it with you.
God often works in ways much like that of the March winds. You can hear the wind and often feel it or see evidence of its existence, yet you never see the wind itself. In the same way God is always working on our behalf, even when we cannot see him.
There are times when we may feel abandoned or find ourselves asking “God where are you?” — especially during difficult seasons. But, my friend, what I have learned through many trials and hard times is this: He is always working. He is always right there with us in the midst of our raging storms. We are never alone. What a wonderful, faithful promise we have—one that I personally have held onto in many situations.
When we are weighed down with the worries of life, it is easy to become disgruntled, overwhelmed and weary. It often seems when you need God the most, He is nowhere in sight. This is the very moment the enemy will try to attack for sure—causing us doubt, question everything around us, and even question our purpose for living.
As the wind increases and our circumstances begin to feel out of control and we may start to wonder if God even cares. Let me tell you about my JESUS! He cared enough about you and me that he died for us, that we might live— and have life more abundantly. He is always with us. Never forget that. Though the enemy may try to blind us, God is always working behind the scenes.
The revelation I received concerning the month of March is that it represents a transition—- from bondage to freedom. It symbolizes covenant renewals, resurrection of life, first-fruit blessings and NEW BEGINNINGS.
Just as the blustery winds prevail throughout this month, keep your eyes focused on Jesus. These winds serve a purpose. They clear the landscape of all debris and prepare the road ahead, making a way for beautiful transitions and new growth.
Song of Solomon 2:11-12 says:
See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth,
and the season of singing has come.
The cooing of doves is heard in our land.
Just like the winds, sometimes strong and blustery even on sunny days—God is at work removing the evil and difficult circumstances from our lives, even when we cannot see Him working. He truly does work all things together for the good of those who love him.
And when all is said and done, you will know it was something that only He could change— as only He can.
Don’t give up. Don’t give in to the lies of the enemy as you face what lies ahead. God is right there with you. All we must do is TRUST. There is no need to worry. He is a faithful, merciful, and compassionate, God who has never failed us—- and He never will.
So many times, throughout the Bible, He reminds us: “Be Strong, Be Courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for I am with you.
Begin this month of March as a New Beginning— a time for fresh starts, divine resets, renewed commitments, and God shifting seasons.
Remember, it is in living the Life God created you to live that the blessings will come.
Don’t let the enemy steal your blessings and your joy.
Jesus and Me—We love you.
