The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

Hello Everyone,

I’m so grateful you chose to join us today.

It feels like we just stepped into a new year and yet here we are already welcoming February, bringing with it a flood of red hearts, greeting cards and reminders of LOVE.

For many these symbols bring warmth and joy. But for others— like myself — they stir something much deeper. This month always carries a tender mix of emotions as I remember the Valentine’s Days I shared with my soulmate, the love of my life. We experienced a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love and though he is no longer here with me, that love still fills my heart in quiet, unexpected ways.

As I watch my friends decorate and celebrate, I can’t help but reflect with gratitude on the blessing of having known such a love—one many search for but never find. Yet even in that sweetness, the ache of loss remains. Time may soften the edges, but it never truly erases the pain.

I quietly sit reflecting on the memories past, and I’m reminded that even the deepest human love — as beautiful as it is — can still leave us longing. We cherish it, we grieve it, and we carry it with us. But sometimes amid the emotions this season stirs, we overlook a love far greater than anything we’ve ever experienced on this earth.

I’d like to share with you The Greatest Love Story Ever Told one that was written long before any of us were born, and one that remains available to us today. It is a love not expressed in flowers or cards, but in sacrifice.  A love demonstrated on an old rugged cross, where Jesus gave His life so that we might live.

There is no greater gift than someone laying down their life for another, and that is exactly what He did. Jesus wrote “I LOVE YOU” not with ink, but with His own blood, willingly offering Himself for you and for me.

Let that truth settle in your heart for a moment.  Truly let it sink in.

If you have ever felt unseen, unloved, unheard, or abandoned, pause and consider this: God loves you so deeply that He gave His only Son that you could have life – abundant, eternal, and overflowing with grace. There is NO GREATER LOVE than God’s unconditional, unwavering love for each of us.

No matter what you may be facing today whether it’s grief, loneliness, disappointment, or uncertainty – there is a love that meets you right where you are.

Jesus is faithful, compassionate, and merciful.

He will never abandon or forsake you.

And He will never fail you.

His grace stretches farther than our mistakes, our doubts, and our broken places.

His love has no limits.

You may feel unseen at times, or overlooked, or completely alone—but you are not. God’s promises stand firm even when everything arounds us is crumbling. His love does not waver. It doesn’t depend on how we feel or what we’ve been through.

It simply is — strong, unchanging, constant and eternal.

All He asks is that we Believe, Trust, and Walk with Him.

Lift your head.

Stand firm.

Receive the greatest love ever known to mankind.

The Love of Jesus Christ.

As a community we do not walk this journey alone. No matter how broken, tired or unseen we may feel, we are here to lift one another up – encouraging each other, sharing our stories and lighting the path of faith together, one story at a time.

With love and heartfelt blessing,

REBAMAC
